More than 40 CLANH members attended the annual meeting in Manchester in September. Two new Board members were elected. Please welcome attorneys David Sayward and Amy Connolly to the Board. Lisa Forberg and Kim Weibrecht concluded their term as co-chairs, but will remain on the Board. Catherine McKay and Karen Ela Kenny are the Board’s new co-chairs.  The new board has already met and begun planning for a successful 2014! We are fortunate to have so many dedicated professionals willing to volunteer their time to promote Collaborative Practice throughout New Hampshire.

On November 15, CLANH hosted a successful training event in Manchester. About 30 attendees gathered for presentations on “The Coach-Facilitator Role” and “Reaching Better Settlements with the Help of a Financial Professional”. CLANH is committed to providing its members with quality learning opportunities. If you have a suggested topic for a future seminar, please contact Cathy McKay, chair of the Member Education Committee.

CLANH member Loretta Brady has volunteered to create a new Civil Practice Group. If you are interested in using Collaborative Practice to resolve disputes outside the family law arena, please contact Loretta.

The NH Collaborative Practice Roadmap is ready! David Sayward and Lisa Forberg led the initiative to develop this informative guide to New Hampshire Collaborative Practice.  There are two versions: a very detailed roadmap for professional team members which includes practice tips and a more basic version for clients, accompanied by an introduction.  These materials will be on the website soon. If you need copies please contact David or Lisa.
